- 3 x Officers Average out at 42 hours per week (Shift Timings are below)
- All holidays, illnesses and compassionate periods will be offered to the core team at all times meaning you can work extra shifts as and when they are available.
- Successful candidates can also be trained on neighboring sites should they wish to work extra shifts.
SCOPE:
Due to organic growth Consortio Security are looking to recruit 3 professional Security Officers to join our successful team at a Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) site in Coventry, CV1 5GA.
The successful candidates should be confident in undertaking separate roles and responsibilities as part of a team or by themselves.
To be considered for this role you must hold an active SIA License be it Close Protection, Door Supervisor or Security Guard. You must have an in date First Aid Qualification and have high levels of Customer Service skills, as the role involves working with and supporting residents, employees, and site contractors. Preferably you will also have previous Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) experience.
If you have a ‘’can do attitude’’ and ‘’a will to succeed’’ you will be successful in the recruitment process and the subsequent role. If you lack people skills or struggle to communicate, please do not apply for this role.
This role would suit someone who is flexible, able to think on their feet, who is able to constantly prioritise tasks ensuring that the most critical issues are dealt with first.
Anyone NOT completing the Indeed Assessments WILL NOT move forward to the next stage of our recruitment process and will be immediately removed. A 30-minute telephone vetting and screening interview process will take place and any unsuitable candidates will not be put forward for a face-to-face interview with the Regional Operations Manager.

All site training will be provided prior to deployment.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Purpose of the role: To provide an efficient and professional security service to Consortio Security’s clients as specified, demonstrating the highest levels of professionalism, customer service and integrity.
MAIN DUTIES:
Controlling access and egress to site, booking staff and visitors onto the site, seal checks, monitoring of CCTV across the site, immediate first aid management prior to the emergency services attending the site, fire evacuation and testing procedures, coordinating safe movement of staff and visitors whilst they are on site, Health, and Safety checks as well as proactive and reactive incident management
DUTIES:
- Control all access and egress, utilising the equipment and systems provided
- Ensure clients’ staff, property and other assets are always secure
- Site Health and Safety and building well-being checks must be carried out as directed by your Regional Operations Manager
- Answer all enquiries courteously and professionally
- Accurately operate designated alarm systems
- Monitor CCTV footage for protection of property and assets
- Complete the daily log, noting all appropriate activity
- Produce accurate reports as and when needed
- Conduct sufficient internal and external patrols to ensure security of all zones utilizing technical capabilities
- Ensure all procedures, site / Assignment Instructions and protocols are always followed; being particularly diligent when in an emergency
- Always maintain tidy and clean work areas
- Thorough cleaning handover of all areas prior to handover from shift to shift
- Ensuring personal boundaries are always adhered to making sure that the line is never crossed
- Always book on and off your shift utilising the site mobile phone
- Be an effective ambassador for Consortio, always smart and diligent with elevated levels of integrity
- Previous Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) experience would be beneficial.
The above duties are subject to additional duties as per the site’s Assignment Instructions; however, if there is a conflict of duties, the Assignment Instructions will prevail.

- Shift Pattern Week 1: Saturday and Sunday day shift, Monday night shift
- Shift Pattern Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday nights
- Shift Pattern Week 3: Friday, Saturday, Sunday night
- 3 x Officers Average out at 42 hours per week (Shift Timings are below)
- Weekend day shift timings: 0900-2100
- Weekday night shift timings:1730-0900
- Weekend night shift timings:2100-0900
- All holidays, illnesses and compassionate periods will be offered to the core team at all times meaning you can work extra shifts as and when they are available.
- Successful candidates can also be trained on neighboring sites should they wish to work extra shifts.
