Contract: Permanent
Hours per week: Variable Shift Rota - 40 hours per week

Role Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Security Officer to join our passionate and driven Security team based at our client’s site in Gunwharf Quays
As a Security Officer you will be working as part of a team of security professionals in a Premium retail outlet, ensuring that all aspects of security are delivered and are carried out to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and secure environment for guests, staff, and occupiers.
- Always offer and promote the best customer services.
- Assist and monitor the security team to respond to incidents.
- Assist with all emergency procedures.
- Conduct regular patrols.
- Ensure when conducting building patrol Health and Safety is always adhered to.
- Loss prevention
- Dealing with traffic management
- Dealing with a night-time economy
- Prevent and detect fire, water leaks, and any potential safety hazards.
About You:
- Good communication (both written and oral) and customer service skills.
- Experience in working within a team as well as on your own.
- A valid SIA Licence (Door Supervisor/Security Guarding)
- CCTV Licence is desirable but not essential to apply for this position.
- Demonstrate proactive and a professional approach to security.
- Ability to operate in a pressurised environment.
- Attention to detail, proactive and excellent time management.
- Knowledge of first aid is desirable but not essential.
- Shift work day and night
- Must have a valid SIA licence
