SECURITY OFFICERYou will be expected to provide effective and timely service to all of our customers whilst delivering the highest level of security and customer service at all times. Due to the nature of the role it is important that successful applicants will be confident in dealing with ever changing demands, be versatile, fully flexible with weekend shifts, physically fit and above all enthusiastic!Responsibilities and DutiesGuarding AircraftsSearching AircraftsSearching PassengersPrepare the passengers for security document checksDocument checks of transfer passengers (inter-terminal)Comply with all relevant health & safety proceduresOur business operates over 7 day’s a week earliest you would be expected to start is 0700Qualifications and SkillsExcellent communication skills – both oral and writtenGood organisational and administrative skills, with an eye for detailPositive “Can do” attitude and ability to multi-taskExcellent grooming standards18 years of age or overIndefinite Right to work and live in the UKMust have a full UK driving licence5 year full checkable employment/education history with a maximum of 4 referencesTrainingWill be providedDocumentation RequiredCopy of PassportCopy of Utility Bill (within 3 months)Copy of NI NumberCopy of Driving LicenceJob Types: Zero hours contract, PermanentSalary: £10.92 per hourSchedule:Day shiftWeekend availabilityAbility to commute/relocate:Manchester Airport: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Experience:Security: 1 year (required)Licence/Certification:Driving Licence (required)Work authorisation:United Kingdom (required)Work Location: In person
