What’s purpose of role:
The Security Manager is responsible for the introduction of asset protection and aviation security policies, procedures and systems. The Security Manager will conduct asset protection and aviation security audits to ascertain if company Catering and suppliers are operating in accordance with applicable requirements, laws and regulations. The Security Manager will manage audit and incident non-conformances and corrective action processes and procedures.
Who you’ll deal with:
Internal Stakeholders: Operations, support functions and other internal stakeholders
External Stakeholders: Authorities, customers, suppliers and other external stakeholders
What you’ll be doing:
Analysing audit and other results and highlighting trends to identify risks and enable informed and effective decision making
Communicate to, advise and support all stakeholders, making sure that the dissemination of information is appropriate, factual and timely
Conducting asset protection and aviation security audits to ascertain if company Catering and suppliers are operating in accordance with applicable requirements, laws and regulations
Liaising with authorities and customers on all aspects of the program, including the investigation and resolution of incidents, ensuring proactive problem solving
Managing audit and incident non-conformances and corrective action processes and procedures
Managing incident investigations and corrective action processes and procedures
Managing internal and regulatory changes for immediate introduction
Managing the introduction of asset protection and aviation security policies, procedures and systems
Managing the introduction of initiatives and projects
Managing the introduction of new suppliers
Producing regular asset protection and aviation security reports for all stakeholders
Providing regular asset protection and aviation security training to colleagues
Providing technical advice, support and direction to company Catering and suppliers on asset protection and aviation security
Supporting the creation of asset protection and aviation security strategies, policies, processes, procedures and systems

What you’ll have:
A background in the introduction of asset protection and aviation security policies, procedures and systems
A driving licence and the ability to travel (20-50%)
A flexible can-do approach to completing initiatives and projects
A formal qualification in asset protection or aviation security and training
An understanding of customer needs, and the ability to meet internal and external expectations
Commitment to, promotion and demonstration of proposing improvements on strategies, policies, procedures and systems, and managing change successfully with a positive impact
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
Excellent computer skills
Experience with managing and conducting asset protection and aviation security audits
Experience with producing and presenting reports
The ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders
The ability to drive the attainment of organisational results and continue to do so under pressure
The ability to effectively raise and deal with challenges and conflict
The ability to identify, anticipate, and resolve problems

Salary: £37,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
