Queens Park Rangers Football Club (QPR) is an English professional football club based at Loftus Road, White City, west London. The Club was founded in 1882 and honours include winning the League Cup in 1967, being runners-up in the old First Division in 1975–76 and reaching the final of the FA Cup in 1982, winning the npower Championship in the 2010-11 season and most recently winning the Sky Bet Championship Play-Off Final in the 2013-14 season.
Queens Park Rangers Football Club has just moved into a new state-of-the-art training ground based in Heston, Hounslow. The Club is now hiring at least two Security Supervisor’s to manage the day-to-day security teams as well as a pool of Security Operatives for events.
As well as managing the team of Security Operatives, the Security Supervisor will be responsible for creating rotas and booking in staff for events at the Training Ground.
The Security Supervisor will also undertake a front-of-house role and be a visible and professional presence to any staff, players, or visitors.
The Supervisor role will be split into two shift patterns; 06:30 – 14:30 and 14:00 – 22:00. These will be two separate shift patterns and a successful candidate would only be expected to work one of these shifts, and would not be expected to swap patterns.
Role Requirements:
1. Directly manage the supervision of security operatives, ensuring that standards and procedures are always upheld.
2. Brief and inform all security operatives of daily and key information.
3. Act as the front-of-house presence for the Club, ensuring all staff and visitors are greeted and answering first-line queries.
4. Monitoring and reviewing of CCTV.
5. Management of car parking
6. Organise accreditation for visitors and ensure that Club procedures are followed when booking visitors onto site.
7. Maintain a log of all visitors, incidents, and any other records that may be required.
8. Assist with the organisation of site events and community engagement activities.
9. All other duties that may arise from time to time and fall within the scope of this position.
Person Specification:
Qualifications
· Hold a current SIA licence
· Enhanced DBS, or be willing to undertake these checks
Experience
· Previous experience of managing security teams
· High standard of customer service and experience of working with key stakeholders
Skills
· Proficiency in spoken and written English
· Excellent communication skills and ability to resolve complaints effectively
· Familiar with Microsoft Office Applications and IT literacy
· Valid full driving licence
