Are you a talented and experienced Senior Manager in IT Network and Security Design looking to lead a dynamic team at a prestigious global law firm? As the Senior Manager, you will be responsible for spearheading the design and construction of network infrastructure, as well as establishing the strategic direction for network and security controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of skilled network and security professionals, providing guidance, mentoring, and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Drive the design and implementation of cutting-edge network and security architectures, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Establish and maintain the strategic vision for the firm's network and security controls, keeping abreast of emerging technologies and trends.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into network and security solutions.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential security threats and recommend proactive measures.
- Oversee the development and enforcement of policies, standards, and procedures related to network and security design.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and evaluate third-party solutions to optimize the firm's network and security infrastructure.
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and maintain professional certifications to ensure continuous improvement of skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in network and security design, with a focus on enterprise-level environments.
- Proven track record of leading teams and managing complex network and security projects.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, topologies, and technologies (LAN, WAN, VPN, MPLS, SD-WAN, etc.).
- Deep understanding of security frameworks, such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS, and experience implementing security controls.
- Familiarity with industry-leading security products, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM, and endpoint protection.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risks and make informed decisions.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the capability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent) will be highly regarded.
