Job description
Who we are
ADARMA began life in 2009, with a fierce determination to make cyber resilience a reality for every organisation, every day. This has guided us as we've adapted and grown to become one of the UK's leading threat specialists. Our journey is remarkable. But what's ahead is even more inspiring. Together, we're growing and transforming like never before. We're partnering with even more customers, and creating more innovative and resilient solutions. And we're taking our thinking and our whole sector further, every single day.
What you’ll do
We are looking for a tenacious rising star to join Adarma as a Security Engineer. You will have a passion for all things cyber security with knowledge in basic security tools and processes. You will join our Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) team reporting into our EDR and Vulnerability Management Lead. As part of this team, you will be actively involved in health monitoring for our partners, providing subject matter expertise on customer security controls, creating documentation on processes and procedures and aiding in the development of IOCs and IOAs, plus so much more!
How you’ll grow
As a Security Engineer, you could remain within a technical role and progress into a Senior Security Engineer. Alternatively, you could transfer into a more customer facing role and become a Consultant. We are constantly improving our internal training programmes to make sure we tailor each career path to our team’s career goals.
What you’ll bring
You could be a recent graduate with a cyber security degree, someone with experience in an IT security role or someone who is able to demonstrate self-guided learning experience. Our mission is to work with innovative people who want to defend cyberspace – we hire people and their potential, not a job description.
This role would involve a mix of home working and travel to either our Edinburgh or London offices. Travel to our client sites may be required on occasion.
What we offer
Competitive compensation and benefits package including:
- Private health care, health cash plan, 24/7 employee assistance programme and mental wellbeing platform / application access
- Hybrid working
- Ongoing training and development opportunities with industry recognised accreditations and qualifications
- Paid time off for training days and voluntary work
- An extra day of leave to celebrate your birthday
- Company pension
- We encourage autonomy and entrepreneurship enabling our employees to influence the strategy and direction of the business
