We're seeking SIA Door supervisors with strong commitments to Event safety, a strong attention to detail is a must to work with Auxilium. The ideal candidates will work within a team monitoring Events and venues, ensuring that all security procedures are followed and responding to any potential or real security threats. We are interested in hiring individual's who are highly observant, independent, and willing to work as part of a team. This position requires the successful candidates to have either a SIA DS or CP Licence.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain awareness of your environment and possible risks to people or property.
  • Report crimes, safety hazards or suspicious activities to the appropriate people.
  • Use an emergency communication when required.
  • Keep control in emergency situations and follow emergency policies and procedures.
  • Communicate with others using a two-way radio.
  • Control access to secured areas using a variety of security devices.
  • Support emergency staff during a crisis by helping customers, relaying information, and performing other tasks that aid in response efforts.

We are currently recruiting for experienced and new door supervisors badge holders to join Auxilium, You will need to be:

  • Presentable and hygienic.
  • Strong command of the English language.
  • Confident in interacting with customers, management and colleagues.
  • Be able to arrive at work on time!
  • Working Friday, Saturday and Sunday’s are a MUST with mid-week work available.
  • Committed once confirmation of shifts.

Job Purpose:

  • Premises and personnel protection.
  • Watching out for any other hazards that could cause harm to someone attending the Venue / Event.
  • Knowing where the fire exits and escape routes are and how to react in case of an emergency evacuation of the Venue / Event.
  • Following briefing plans in the event of an emergency.
  • Setting up the venue prior to the event and restoring it to normal after the event (If required).
  • ​To provide a high standard of customer care.
  • To ensure an even flow of people entering the venue / event.
  • To monitor crowds for signs of overcrowding.
  • General health & safety duties.

Job Types: Variety of Festivals, pop up Events, Bars/Clubs, Music festivals.

Salary: £13.00 per hour, PAYE or Self Employed available.

Licence/Certification:

  • SIA DS or CP licence (Either one is required)

Work Location: Brighton, Bristol, Somerset, Gloucestershire, London. Oxford, Stroud

Salary: From £13.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Flexitime
  • Night shifts
  • Weekend availability
  • Week day availability (Upon upcoming Events)

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bank Holidays time and half

Ability to commute:

  • London, Brighton, Bristol, Somerset, Gloucestershire: Reliably commute (preferred) or plan with management upon upcoming shift.

Licence/Certification:

  • SIA door supervisor or close protection licence (required)
