What you’ll be doing:
- Support safe practice, effective risk management and accurate recording by monitoring and checking security & safety processes and regulatory requirements.
- Complete compliance field audits and checks to ensure compliance with regulations and corporate and business policy and procedures.
- Conduct field interviews and surveys to ensure that employees are compliant with regulation, policy and procedure across the business functions.
- Conduct investigations to discover the root cause of compliance problems when they arise.
- Develop and implement specific and targeted compliance, education and awareness campaigns to mitigate identified risks.
- Drive and support policy and procedure reviews and make changes and amendments, engaging with key stakeholders to do so.

Qualifications:
- Working towards entry level Security qualification from a certified body, where relevant.

The Engineer - Security Advisor team:
This is a new role that will sit within security (Personnel Security) The team will assist in supporting events such as Key Component Moves or Boat Launches. You will help give more scope for the Department to have a pro-active approach whilst having the resources to react to immediate events. There will be development in support of skills required for the role & future development as well as a defined Career pathway & support with Development Plan including networking across the business & further development of skills – e.g. Emergency Planning, Investigation Courses.
