Role description:

Lead long-term, sustainable, profitable growth for the Water market sector within the UK Resilience GBA UK&I.

This role reports to reports directly to the BA Sales Director.

Role accountabilities:

Develop and implement Sector Strategy

    • Lead development of Market Sector strategy in line with overall Global Market Sector and Solutions strategies through annual and multi-year plans
    • Prepare sector and account plans to translate strategy into concrete objectives, actions, and outcomes
    • Lead analysis and valuation of the Market Sector to build and maintain Arcadis’ understanding and insights

Client Development

    • Drive overall growth in country market sector NOI, as sold gross margin, weighted pipeline and DRO to meet or exceed planned targets
    • Personally, lead one or two major accounts within sector
    • Develop and expand a sustainable network of relationships across the sector, leveraging these to enable Arcadis to have maximum impact
    • Manage the identification and selection of key clients and emerging key clients to ensure sustained sector growth
    • Collaborate with Solutions teams to develop and implement pursuit/positioning strategy
    • Drive replication of success from client to client
    • Deliver a maximal client experience, conduct CX surveys, act on findings

People

    • Select, develop and manage local Account Leaders
    • Develop, coach and mentor direct reports embedded in the sector within country, to achieve high performance, growth and personal development

Thought Leadership

    • Coordinate visibility of Arcadis at industry conferences and meetings within the market sector.
Qualifications & Experience:

Proven track record of developing and implementing sales strategies to profitably grow client accounts. Demonstrate significant leadership capability and the ability to inspire multi-disciplinary teams around a common purpose.

Further required competencies and experiences:

  • Demonstrated experience as senior sales leader with significant presence in the UK&I water sectors
  • Ambitious mindset and a drive to grow the business and meet targets.
  • The ability to inspire and enthuse Account Leaders and Pursuit Leaders to bring their best.
  • Entrepreneurial attitude and strategic focus with excellent commercial drive and decisiveness.
