We are looking for a Secondary Education Curriculum Lead to oversee the department’s secondary education programmes across a range of curriculum areas. This role will also lead and develop Social Action programmes for Primary and Secondary education.

Your day-to-day
- Acting as the lead contact for secondary schools participating in the Arsenal Secondary Education Programmes.
- Curriculum lead with responsibility for creation and delivery of new, engaging learning resources for relevant subject areas, across secondary education programmes, assemblies, and collapsed curriculum days.
- Leading the design and delivery of engaging social action programmes across Primary and Secondary education settings.
- Designing and delivering engaging materials supporting young people transitioning from Primary to Secondary education.
- Collaborating with the Primary Education team to develop and deliver education materials.
- Coordinating education workshops with themed stadium tours for Secondary Schools.
- Liaising with the local authorities, schools and funding bodies (such as the Premier League Charitable Fund) and producing annual reports.
- Creating annual delivery plans according to KPIs.
- Promoting secondary school education projects through leaflets, website, social media, match day programme copy, Local Education Authority forums and elsewhere as appropriate.
What we are looking for
- Degree or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Primary or Secondary School setting (preferably as a teacher).
- Experience of liaising with Head Teachers and strategic groups such as Head Teacher Forums.
- Experience coaching or mentoring young people.
- Efficient and effective office and administrative experience.
- Strong literacy skills.
- Good knowledge of the National Curriculum at Key Stages 3 and 4 in relevant subject areas.
- Forward-thinking and creative.
- Excellent ICT skills including Microsoft Office.
- Excellent admin and organisation skills.
- Clean driving license (desirable).
- This role requires an enhanced DBS check.
