About the Role
A new opportunity for an experienced Gardener to join our Head Gardener and Team in maintaining and developing all gardens and landscapes across Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort and Spa and outlying sites.
Duties and Responsibilities
Maintenance of lawns and gardens.
To maintain the landscape areas and carry out daily work programs as devised and instructed by Head Gardener
Prepare and maintain machinery and hand tools
To ensure personal protective equipment and uniforms are maintained to the required standard.
To follow the safe working practices implemented by senior team members ensuring the safety of all guests, staff and contractors.
About you
We’re looking for committed Gardener’s to support our team during our high season until October. You’ll be a friendly individual who enjoys working as part of a team but can also work independently, following daily work programs. Ideally, you will have your NC Horticulture or relevant working experience.
Salary
This is a casual contract working a flexible shift pattern until October, with a competitive hourly rate up to £11.77 per hour depending on experience. There will be an element of weekend working and unsociable hours to this contract.
