JOB TITLE – Seasonal Gardener
DEPARTMENT - Estates
RATE OF PAY – Up to £10.42 (depending on age)
CONTRACT TYPE - Seasonal
HOURS OF WORK – 42 hours
OVERVIEW
As a Seasonal Gardener you will be required to assist the gardeners team.
You will have a proven track record of work experience, be self motivated and a team player.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR …
Previous experience in this area would be preferred but not essential as full training is provided.
WHAT YOU’LL DO …
In this role you will be exposed to cleaning, lawn and shrub maintenance chemicals and all weather conditions and prolonged periods of standing and/or walking as well as the operation of heavy machinery. Examples of duties:
Mow and treat grassed areas around hotel, Lodge and 2010 Clubhouse.
Shrub beds, maintenance and planting.
Leaf clearing during winter months.
Daily rubbish checks
