Transportation is provided between the Hotel and Aviemore Train Station for shifts (Subject to position).
The Coylumbridge Hotel boasts 292 bedrooms and offers guests the dining selection of an A La Carte Restaurant, a Bistro, and an American Diner. The Coylumbridge Hotel is also a popular choice for Conference, Events & Weddings. Due to continued expansion, we are looking to recruit a Seasonal Day Porter onto the team.
As a Day Porter, you will be required to:
- Look after hotel security and guest welfare, ensuring politeness and courtesy to guests
- Conduct regular floor walks and security checks of fire exits and public areas, reporting any irregularities to the manager on duty.
- Meet and greet the guests into the hotel and offer a concierge service to the guests in a warm and friendly manner.
- Offer the facility of carrying guest luggage to their bedrooms.
- Ensure that the hotel car park is kept clean and tidy and regular checks are made.
- Assist in setting up and servicing event rooms
- Have thorough knowledge of all systems and procedures used within the hotel and department and to provide support as and when required.
- You will be required to work at least 16 hours a week
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills with colleagues and guests, exceptional customer service and be self-motivated. Having a valid driving license is desirable.
