What you'll do

Work with a multi-functional squad, comprising Product Leads, UX & UI, Developers and Testers, championing them to take ownership for their delivery processes and value-driven outcomes
Coach the squad to improve efficiency and quality by evolving their application of Agile and Lean practices
Collaborate with Product & Tech Leads to support the continual review and management of delivery roadmaps and backlogs
Apply a structured and open approach to planning and delivery, supervising progress, reacting to change, co-ordinating with other teams on dependencies, and ensuring all relevant parties are aware of the team’s progress
Be an active participant and facilitator of important team ceremonies (e.g., planning & retrospectives) – promoting timely discussion and decision making, ensuring everyone participates, and handling conflict resolution
Actively remove, or guide the squad to remove, impediments and waste to achieve a smooth and sustainable flow of work
Build a safe and positive environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged
Use agile metrics to inspect the team’s current performance and identify areas and suitable methods for adaption in the pursuit of continuous improvement
Contribute to the Agile community within the department

What you'll bring

Proven knowledge of various Agile / Lean principles, frameworks and tools and experience working with Software Development teams in a fast-paced delivery environment
Shown success in growing and facilitating highly motivated/capable teams towards delivery high-quality software projects
Good communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to connect with people – an expert influencer and positive role model
Proven track record of enabling data-driven continuous improvement with teams of various levels of maturity
You’ll be proactive and flexible, with excellent facilitation and coaching skills
Strong growth mindset
Previous experience in a Scrum Master or Agile Coach role.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM/PSMI)

Not essential but desirable:

Proficiency with tools/software such as JIRA, Confluence & Miro
