Position Overview:

We are seeking a Scrum Master to manage the agile process of highly talented, internal development teams.

Responsibilities:

Work with POCs to ensure stories are clearly written
Maintain backlog of tasks on an ongoing basis
Run scrum meetings and make sure project boards are updated
Run retrospectives and sprint planning meetings; assign owners to action items
Ensure the issue/risk/opportunity tracker is reflective of any new items that arise
Manage input and format weekly status reports
Work with consultants to accurately forecast completion timelines

Required Qualifications:

TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field of study
Must be well versed in full systems development life cycle, strategic information planning, and knowledge management practices.
Experience working with and managing expectations of multiple Product Owners.
Must be able to identify, communicate, and develop mitigation plans for risks to the program.
Demonstrated and current experience managing program delivering systems/tools/solutions in production, while transitioning to better technology solutions.
Experience providing oral and written discussion of analytical findings using narrative and graphic forms.
Possesses excellent communication skills and be able to facilitate and document meetings effectively.
Effectively communicate development progress using various Agile metrics, such as burn down, cumulative flow diagrams, and cycle time.
Identify and communicate sprint goals, create project outlines and timelines and distribute responsibilities to team members.
Working knowledge of the systems development life cycle, strategic information planning, and knowledge management practices
Knowledge of computer software applications, including database technologies and programming languages

Preferred Qualifications:

Scrum Master certification
PMP
Agile certifications
Experience with Scaled Agile Framework 5.1 / DEVOPS
