We are seeking a Scrum Master to manage the agile process of highly talented, internal development teams.
Responsibilities:- Work with POCs to ensure stories are clearly written
- Maintain backlog of tasks on an ongoing basis
- Run scrum meetings and make sure project boards are updated
- Run retrospectives and sprint planning meetings; assign owners to action items
- Ensure the issue/risk/opportunity tracker is reflective of any new items that arise
- Manage input and format weekly status reports
- Work with consultants to accurately forecast completion timelines
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field of study
- Must be well versed in full systems development life cycle, strategic information planning, and knowledge management practices.
- Experience working with and managing expectations of multiple Product Owners.
- Must be able to identify, communicate, and develop mitigation plans for risks to the program.
- Demonstrated and current experience managing program delivering systems/tools/solutions in production, while transitioning to better technology solutions.
- Experience providing oral and written discussion of analytical findings using narrative and graphic forms.
- Possesses excellent communication skills and be able to facilitate and document meetings effectively.
- Effectively communicate development progress using various Agile metrics, such as burn down, cumulative flow diagrams, and cycle time.
- Identify and communicate sprint goals, create project outlines and timelines and distribute responsibilities to team members.
- Working knowledge of the systems development life cycle, strategic information planning, and knowledge management practices
- Knowledge of computer software applications, including database technologies and programming languages
- Scrum Master certification
- PMP
- Agile certifications
- Experience with Scaled Agile Framework 5.1 / DEVOPS
