Senior Scrum Master | Hybrid working | Long-Term Contract Opportunity

**Only candidates presently in Canada and eligible to work here need here**

**Candidates should be ready to work at the client location in Toronto or Montreal (whichever is convenient for the candidates) for up to twice a week**

Hiring a Senior Scrum Master for a premium client of ours.

Functional Accountabilities

• Work closely with key stakeholders (Service Owners, Analysts, UI/UX and Development groups) to help plan and oversee the delivery of sprint releases, focusing on continually improving the team’s productivity

• Plans and manages the activities to negate barriers for the team and help deliver complex solutions that meet business objectives across cross-functional development teams

• Seek to translate requirements into appropriate plans with time and costs whilst maintaining Agile principles that will be communicated to the DevOps team

• Guides and coaches the development teams and assesses the Scrum maturity of teams

• Manage planning, execution, tracking, schedule, and scope on all projects from a day to day perspective, aligned to management decisions and direction

• Implement, run and improve an appropriate adaptation of Agile Practice (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, Lean, XP etc.) within the team for all internal and external IT planned work, projects, change and unscheduled work and working with Jira tool or equivalent

• Translate requirements from the product owners/ business groups into plans, working within the product team using Burn up Charts, Story Mapping, Release Plans and Team Velocity to develop them

•Conduct Lean analysis such as Value Stream Mapping to optimize constraints and remove impediments

REQUIRED SKILLS

•Previous experience as a scrum master in large organization

•Knowledge on Data warehouse principles such as data Pipeline

• Knowledge of Jira board or similar tools

•SQL language knowledge

•Programming Experience

•Presentation skills

•Coaching skills

•Leadership

• Monday to Friday

• IT project management: 10 years (preferred)
• Programming: 4 years (required)
• Scrum Master/Project management- waterfall and agile: 8 years (required)
• Data warehouse principles such as data Pipeline: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• CSM or PSM certification (preferred)
