The role: We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Screen Printer to join our friendly operations team on site in Sully. Your focus will be on ensuring that all screen print production orders are produced in-line with our high-quality standards, the printing specification for the customer and within our SLA’s.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
· Printing all screen print production orders to a priority plan ensuring that all SLA’s are met
· Accountable for the quality and accuracy of quantity printed on all production runs
· Ensuring the highest quality is maintained on every printed article in terms of print clarity, colour accuracy, conformance to specifications and identifying any defects
· Create screen patterns based upon the customers specification
· Preparing and reclaiming the screens before and after each print job
· Setting up of the printing press for proper registration and optimum speed including the loading of screens and pouring of inks
· Mix and colour match inks inline with the customers specification
· Maximising usage of material to minimise wastage and scrappage of rejects
· Maintain good housekeeping practices in the work area and comply with all safety rules and procedures
Competencies, Experience and Key skills required:
· Previous screen print experience is essential
· Ability to lead and advise on all areas of screen printing
· Experience working with a variety of materials and substrates, a wide variety of inks as well as being an expert with both manual & automatic printing processes
· Experience in creating screen patterns and preparing and reclaiming screens
· Ability to manually operate large technical machinery
· Experience in mixing and preparing Inks for printing
· Strong interpersonal skills and a confident communicator at all levels.
· A positive “can do” attitude and enthusiasm to succeed.
· Experience and Knowledge of 5S and Lean practices in the work place.
· Experience with Problem solving.
· Excellent organisational skills.

Pay: £19,600.00-£23,333.00 per year
