About the role
Job Purpose: A Scientist provides scientific input on projects where imaging is used to evaluate safety or efficacy of investigational drugs or medical devices. Lead all project related aspects of application development, medical documentation and reviewer quality control from a medical / scientific perspective in consultation with the relevant internal support and stakeholders.
Key Accountabilities:
- Provide medical expertise to project teams conducting clinical trials that rely upon the results of
medical imaging studies.
- Assist in study design to ensure standardization of imaging techniques in multi-center trials.
- Provide consulting to clients on medical imaging issues.
- Provide guidance in the customization of image analysis software tools to meet business needs.
- Support project managers on general project management issues.
- Coordinate appropriate training activities on relevant radiology topics for staff members.
- Participate in meetings with existing clients and/or presentations to prospective clients, as needed.
- Develop, as necessary, and ensure compliance with relevant standard operating procedures.
- Responsible for quality and regulatory compliance of deliverables working closely with Quality
Management (QM) staff.
- Stay up-to-date through ongoing training, journal reading and conference attendance.

Proactively participates in skills improvement training and encourages their teams to participate Maintains an up-to-date awareness of trends, tools, technology, techniques, processes and developments within the Life sciences domain

Knowledge and Experience:
- Proven experience mentoring colleagues
- Experience using tools to communicate progress to Stakeholders
Experience of working in and knowledge of the life sciences sector and /or regulated environments Solid Professional experience in the same or very similar role
- Designing and delivering training to a varied and global audience at all levels
- knowledge of medical terminology and practices
- Proven understanding of research methodologies and pragmatic application in a regulated environment
- Proven ability of using Microsoft Office products (including Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
Qualifications :
- BA / BS degree or Technologist Certification in radiology or similar equivalent
