Netherwood Academy is an 11-16 academy which opened in September 2012, set in an extensive £35 million campus. As part of Astrea Academy Trust, Netherwood Academy is in an exciting period of development and needs colleagues who share the drive and passion to make the academy a success for its community.
We are looking for a Science Technician with high aspirations and expectations for themselves and our students, and with a passion for bringing about positive change throughout the academy. The ideal candidate will be hardworking, focused on improvement and have an unconditional positive regard for all young people.
The role is to work with teaching staff and learning in the department by ensuring the effective preparation, maintenance and storage of materials, equipment, furniture and fittings.
