WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Business area introduction
Our mission statement is to deliver high quality capital and balance sheet analysis to anticipate our clients’ issuance activities and support the origination of DCM mandates.
Key activities
- To support the origination of DCM mandates through learn how to read and evaluate a client’s capital structure (including AT1, T2 and eligible liabilities) vs regulatory, rating and / or market considerations. This will include being up to date in any new regulatory or market developments that may influence the issuance activities of our clients and where necessary to summarise and communicate across the team.
- To maintain the desk database of securities to help monitor market trends, issuance patterns and upcoming redemptions as well as the database of current capital structures as well other ad hoc projects that may look at LCR/NSFR ratios etc.
What we’re looking for
- Experience in DCM, FIG Capital Structuring and Advisory and other relevant areas such as Liability Management
- Experience in DCM origination (or, similar role)
- Understanding of European regulatory capital requirements
- Educated to Degree level in a relevant subject (Engineering, Finance, Science, and Mathematics).
- CISI Regulatory Module
- CFA Level III or CISI Securities
What else you need to know
This role is based in our Triton Square office in London, conveniently located within walking distance from Euston Station and Warren Street Station.
Given the recent impact of the Coronavirus outbreak we will be conducting all interviews via telephone or video-conference where possible.
