Job description

The school is seeking to appoint an experienced and confident School Nurse (Band 5) to support our Lead Nurse with looking after the heath needs of our students, administering first aid, undertaking health assessments and promoting health education.

The successful candidate must be an RGN/RN, hold NMC registration, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and demonstrate clear empathy and understanding. Experience of working with children is also important, as is knowledge of relevant compliance.

This role is term time 40 hours per week plus 10 days in the School holidays. The exact hours can be discussed at interview and can be negotiated (to preferably include up to 4 hours on a Saturday morning at our sports field – this is not essential and can be negotiated).
