Therefore we are currently looking to recruit School Crossing Patrols at various locations in Swansea to provide safer crossing to children and adults attending an education establishment.

We have a number of vacancies for permanent School Crossing Patrols and Support School Crossing Patrols.
Permanent Patrols will be required to work 10 hours a week, between the hours on 8.00am - 9.00am and 3.00pm - 4.00pm during term time only.
Support Patrols will be required to provide cover for when the permanent patrol is unavailable for duty.

Being a School Crossing Patrol is very rewarding role, enabling you to provide an invaluable service to your community. Our School Crossing Patrols are punctual, trustworthy, honest and dedicated men and women who are valued members of their community, who, no matter the weather, provide one of the friendliest faces in public service, being polite and courteous at all times. As a School Crossing Patrol you should have knowledge of road safety, and an understanding of the current Highway Code. You will also need the ability to communicate with children and adults to ensure that they are safe whilst they are crossing.
You will be provided with the correct training and uniform to carry out your duties.
The successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check
