School Administrator – North London – Secondary School – ASAP Start
A successful North London Secondary School are seeking an innovative and reliable Administrator/ Receptionist who is committed to delivering high standards of customer service and administrative support in a busy school office environment. This is a full-time role working 8:30am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday. The hourly rate is £14-£16 per hour.

About the role:
The successful School Administrator/ Receptionist will deliver professional and comprehensive Reception services to ensure the smooth functioning on the main school reception. The skills required for the role include excellent communication, organisational and ICT skills as well as being able to welcome and see to all visitors in a calm, efficient and professional manner.
Duties will include:
- Answering incoming calls and prove courteous support to all callers
- To monitor and respond to email communication to a number of generic email addresses and forward correspondence on to the correct member of staff
- Follow the schools child protection policies and procedures. This includes confirming that the school holds the relevant DBS details for visitors and that visitors are aware of safeguarding policies
- To manage incoming deliveries to reception
- To progress incoming and outgoing post
- To promote and encourage good standards of behaviour in line with the schools behaviour policy
- To maintain office stationery stock and supplies
- To communicate effectively with people in person, on the telephone and using email
- To provide administrative and organisational support to include: photocopying, collating, record keeping
- To update display boards, in class and around the School
- To organise resources for lessons
- To support the organisation of trips, visits and events
