- To manage inventory of materials (in his/her area of responsibility), to balance customer orders, replenishing inventoried materials within agreed timescale, lead-times, inventory level targets and Vendor Constraints.
- To plan as appropriate the Intercompany Finished Goods Inventory Levels, working within planning teams to fulfil regional and global requirements efficiently and effectively balancing need.
- To provide full administrative support to the Manufacture Plant
- Inventory management: maintaining the appropriate finished product inventory level will allow fulfilment of customers’ orders in a timely fashion; too high level will increase working capital
- Administrative Support: maintaining effective communication to the Plant, ensuring all requests are fulfilled in the appropriate timescale.
- Customer order Confirmation
- Intercompany Purchase Orders
- On time shipment performance – related KPI
- Level of Inventory annual targets as agreed.
- Full Plant related support activities.
- All Huddersfield Personnel – regular communication with Plant Manager, Production Manager, HSE Engineer, Engineering Manager, QC Manager, Individual Shift Teams – providing administrative support where needed
- Other Lubrizol sites/entities – Supply Planners, Export Co-ordinators
- CER’s – communication in relation to customer orders, confirmations, delays
- Product Management/ TPM’s/Sales Representatives – relating to short supply and priority customers.
- European Supply Planner – regular discussions relating to forecasts and short supply
- Procurement
- Freight Forwarders – regular contact regarding clearance of imports
- Vendors
- Customers order treatment not automatically confirmed by SAP
- Communication with CER’s, Suppliers, Plant:
- on a daily basis
- informing about changes
- quick issue resolution.
- Maintain and verify master data related to planning & scheduling tasks
- propose changes to reflect reality and improve scheduling accuracy
- Cost control and performance: this may cover different tasks as followings (not exhaustive list):
- Inventory Level targets
- NWSM action planning
- Plant Support: this covers various different tasks, as follows (none exhaustive list):
- Booking taxi’s, hotels & buffets
- Invoice Acceptances
- Meter Readings
- Ordering of plant supplies – eg shrink wrap
- Site documentation – record sheets for visitors book, anti-static footwear log, weighbridge certificate verification
- Label & PI Sheet printing
- S2 verification and issue
- 1 years’ experience in Inventory Management, Production Planning or Logistics.
- Understand Planning and Scheduling activities, MRP, ATP, etc
- SAP Knowledge related to planning and scheduling.
- Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Excellent organisation and time keeping skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
