Introduction:
Boeing Defence UK (BDUK) is a subsidiary of the Boeing Company and currently employs over 1,800 people in the UK. BDUK is currently responsible for delivering several exciting contracts to our UK defence customers including E-7 AEW&C, P-8A Maritime Patrol Aircraft, C4ISR Services, Through-Life Support for the Chinook & Apache Fleets, Logistic Information Services and Training Services.
About the role:
We are looking for Project Planners and Schedulers to support the BDUK Portfolio of bids and execution Programmes. This is a full-time role with potential opportunity to work remotely (from home), in the office (Bristol, Gosport or Yeovil), or hybrid (home and office working) with expected visits to offices as per business need.
Main responsibilities:
- Working with campaign and programme teams to develop programme and project plans including WBS, RAM and Master Summary Schedules
- Developing integrated schedules with teams
- Undertaking Schedule risk analysis and applying schedule risk reserve as required
- Undertaking schedule status, forecast and analysis against critical path, landmarks and EVM
- Supporting variances reporting to management and developing schedule recovery plans
- Applying change management to approved baselines
Preferred Experience:
- Experienced in programme and project planning and scheduling
- Familiarity with scheduling tools including Open Plan or P6, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and SharePoint
- Great communication skills

This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
