Job description
Are you interested in making a real difference and supporting bereaved families at the most difficult of times?
We have some interesting opportunities within the Major Investigations team for a Coroners Officer. The successful individuals will act as representatives for HM Coroner in respect of sudden and suspicious deaths. This role can be demanding however, enables successful candidates to support families in their time of need which can be very rewarding.
The successful individual will be required to carry a case load of investigations and inquests and arrange post mortems and liaise with HM Coroner, the police, medical professionals and most importantly, next of kin. The role requires successful candidates to be above all; patient, compassionate and inquisitive.
