Location: Hertford moving to Stevenage (hybrid role)
Starting Salary: £23,620 to £26,845 pa - Pay increase pending
Hours: 37 per week

This is an exciting opportunity to join the SAP team, at Hertfordshire County Council.
Working as part of the SAP Support Team and reporting to the SAP Team Lead, this role is responsible for providing technical user support for SAP applications, spanning the Finance, Purchasing, Payroll and Human Resources business areas within HCC.
Working closely with the team, the successful applicant will have the willingness to develop understanding of the SAP applications through the processing of tickets using Service Now.
The SAP team handle a high volume of calls from system users, every day. Therefore, you’ll need to be able to work under pressure and be extremely well organised, taking a pro-active approach to your workload.
We’ll need you to have experience of SAP and a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service and be able to ensure work is carried out to a high standard. With highly developed interpersonal skills you will be confident in advising system users and resolving their queries. You’ll be competent in Microsoft packages and understand ITIL methodologies.
You will have the opportunity to help improve our users’ experience, whilst learning more about SAP and new technologies.
