- Hourly wage: £11
- Seasonal employment from approximately 12th November to 24th December
- Paid weekly, one week in arrears
About Us: Belfast is home to one of Ireland's busiest and most enchanting Santa's Grottos, nestled within Castle Court Shopping Centre in Belfast. We are looking for enthusiastic and spirited individuals to join our team as Santa's Grotto Elves and help create magical holiday memories for visitors of all ages.
Position Overview: As a Santa's Grotto Elf, you will be an essential part of the team responsible for bringing the magic of Christmas to life. Your role will involve assisting Santa Claus, interacting with children and families, operating the grotto phot system, and maintaining the festive atmosphere of our grotto. We are seeking individuals with a passion for the holiday season and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and engage with visitors in a cheerful and friendly manner.
- Assist Santa Claus during visits with children, helping to create a magical and memorable experience.
- Ensure the grotto is clean, tidy and well-maintained.
- Help visitors choose and purchase photo packages.
- Cash Handling
- Maintain cleanliness and order within the grotto area.
- Dress in festive elf attire and maintain a positive, cheerful demeanor.
- Be knowledgeable about grotto operations and assist with visitor inquiries.
- Contribute to a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Criteria:
- Enthusiasm for the holiday season and a passion for spreading Christmas cheer.
- Friendly and approachable personality, with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions from grotto management.
- Willingness to dress in elf costume (provided by the company).
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays during the Christmas season.
- Experience in customer service is a plus but not required.
