Westerhope Sandwich Deli is a premier deli that offers both hot and cold sandwiches and food solutions that fits the varied taste of all our customers. It is a convenient place for our customers to stop for breakfast, lunch or coffee on the go. Our aim is simple, to provide freshly made food where the service is fast, friendly and very efficient. We offer cold and hot food ranging from breakfast menus, salad boxes, jacket potatoes, toasted ciabattas and more that will give our customers a filling and pleasant meal experience.

As the business grows, so do the opportunities. Therefore, we are seeking to hire 2 enthusiastic and motivated individuals who are passionate about the food and customer service to join our team on a part time basis.

Requirements:

Be able to prepare food items at the beginning of the shift and adhere to all food safety regulations while storing, preparing, and serving food
Confidently take customers orders
Possess an understanding of the menu offerings, including the different ingredients
Clean food preparation equipment, work areas, and counters or tables.
Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and provide the highest level of customer service.
Must be able to follow instructions and work independently
Monitor displays and keep all areas detailed and well-stocked
Must have basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and addition/subtraction)
Assist on the phone and cash register as needed
Work well with others and be a team player
Must be able to work on feet for extended periods of time
Experience preferred but not essential as training will be given.
Must be available to work weekend shifts in the near future. (Saturday only)
Currently a temporary position that will lead to a permanent role for one candidate.

Shifts;

Candidate 1; Monday Tuesday and Friday 9.00 am - 3.00 pm (with 1x 15 minute break)

Candidate 2 - Wednesday and Thursday 9.00 am - 3.00 pm (with 1x 15 minute break)

Both canditates must be available for future saturday shifts after completion of training.

Occasional 30 mins to 1 hour earlier start maybe required.
