Role Summary
Reports to the C2C Test Lead and works with other colleagues across the wider programme team to undertake all testing activities related to the delivery of our global Client to Cash Salesforce / Conga platform. As a member of a sprint team, you will have a key role in both build sign-off and release testing.
Core Duties/Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Performing testing (function, system, integration, regression and UAT) for C2C releases
- Documenting and executing test cases that adhere to functional requirements in various test environments; pinpoint exact steps to reproduce defects/issues and work with other members of the programme team to bring about defect resolutions.
- Analysing and identifying gaps in testing requirements based on knowledge of the business systems processes and end to end processes
- Analysing defects and troubleshoot them accordingly and identify root causes
- Maintaining test plans and test cases to be executed during the project’s testing lifecycle and maintain regression test cases as new enhancements are released to the various systems
- Supporting coordination and the execution of testing
- Understanding the C2C technical landscape and understand the impact of changes being requested to be able to test the changes and their impacts accordingly quickly, independently, and thoroughly
- Keeping user experience front of mind during testing and suggesting usability improvements where necessary.
Skills, Capabilities and Attributes
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following experience, skills and behaviours:
- Proven experience of functional and non-functional, systems integration, data migration, regression, end-to-end, user acceptance testing and production acceptance testing
- Experience of Salesforce essential, with Conga desirable
- Experience in defining multiple levels test approach, and defining and maintaining quality test scenarios and scripts using various design inputs, with knowledge of both manual and automation test techniques and tools desired
- Identifying and escalating any project risks and issues
- Working experience of Agile project management methodology
- Experience of managing test requirements and defect notification through Azure DevOps or Jira
- Excellent stakeholder management, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to persuade, influence, challenge supportively and effectively where appropriate
