Team Overview
We have an experienced global team of sales and customer relationship management professionals and we are now looking for a Sales Specialist with experience in Financial Technology sales to join us in our London office.
This role will focus on canvassing, building strong pipelines of customers and then selling the EquiLend Spire solution into the EMEA and APAC securities finance marketplace. You will be a strong relationship builder and negotiator with the aim to grow the use of this product across these regions. Role Responsibilities
- Gain a deep understanding of the EquiLend Spire solution and align it with the needs and use cases of potential customers on all sides of the market
- Create and nurture a comprehensive pipeline of prospects based in Europe and Asia that are good fits for the EquiLend Spire solution
- Develop a deep understanding of the prospect's underlying business and current technology stacks. Identify pain points and opportunities where EquiLend Spire can inject immediate value through modern process automation and efficiencies Identify, qualify and close full system and modular opportunities Move clients through the sales process and ultimately close prospects to build on our annual recurring revenue
- Work with internal teams and colleagues to understand the full suite of EquiLend products and services and how best to positions those products in conjunction with the EquiLend Spire offering
- You will appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding EquiLend, its clients and assets
- Travel when required to meets with clients and represent EquiLend at relevant events
Required Skills
- 5+ years of proven experience in sales with relevant experience in Financial Technology sales
- History of meeting and exceeding sales targets and revenue goals
- Ability to effectively communicate the value proposition of the solution to participants in the market
- Ability to work with all facets of an organization from front office trading, product development, technology, operations, risk, legal and procurement. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of seniority from business users to C level executives.
- Strong strategic, orginisation, creative and problem-solving skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills to assist with the sales process
- Resourceful, diligent and persistent when following up on leads and navigating a complex organization to arrive at the decision makers
- Proficient in managing a complex and lengthy sales process that can span from 6 months to 3 years
- Consultative sales approach with the ability to work closely with prospects to uncover pain points and identify opportunities
- Process driven sales professional with proficiency in leveraging Salesforce for managing and tracking leads as well as other lead sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Navigator
