About the Job:

We are looking for Education Sales Specialists with a strong passion for helping students and their families reach their educational goals. We look for individuals who have the ability to understand the ever-changing needs of parents and students, and share our passion for helping students all around the world. This role is focused on educating prospective clients on how our services work and owns the initial communication as a subject matter expert and problem solver. We know that Varsity Tutors can help accomplish everyone's learning goals and our Education Sales Specialists help get it all started.

In this position you will:

  • Work with our fast-growing international sales team, focused on expanding Varsity Tutors' business globally
  • Contact prospective clients that have already expressed interest in Varsity Tutors
  • Enrich the lives of others and provide a truly exceptional experience, one client at a time
  • Discover the needs of prospective clients and effectively communicate the benefits of our services
  • Manage your book of business in our CRM to ensure we can properly follow up and place tutors
  • Plan to exceed expectations through a metrics-driven performance standard

Pay: £30,000 base salary with up to a £1,000 monthly variable bonus potential

Location: Remote

Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week), including 2 evenings each week and full shifts every other weekend

Qualifications:

  • Admissions or educational sales experience preferred
  • Bachelor level degree in any major is preferred
  • Ability to consult with students and families through conducting needs analysis
  • High empathy and emotional intelligence, with the ability to understand families' educational needs and make product/service recommendations
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • General computer and email knowledge – we use Google Suite and Apple products
  • Availability to work some evenings/weekends
  • CRM experience is preferred
  • First-hand familiarity with the British educational system is a plus
  • Passion for being part of a team that is dedicated to making a difference for our clients
