Stationery House is an independent, family run business with shops in Somerton and Clevedon- newly opened in November 2021. We also have a growing online shop which serves the whole UK with a great range of quality products. This is an exciting time to join us at Stationery House as we head into our Back to School campaign, followed by the exciting Christmas sales period!
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about the products we sell, with a customer focused attitude to match, to deliver the very best service to our fabulous customers. We also have an opportunity for the right candidate to get involved in developing our TikTok and Twitter social media channels, to boost our presence and develop/produce fun and exciting new content!
No experience necessary- our friendly team will provide you with all the training, tools and guidance to make you confident and comfortable in your new role.
Responsibilities:
- Till point customer service inc cash handling
- Assisting with customer printing, photocopying, laminating and photo developing
- Assisting with stock deliveries
- Merchandising
- Packing and dispatching online orders
- Pricing and stock replenishment
- Social media development
- Window display merchandising
- Stock management
- Ordering
- Replenishment
- General operations
The ideal candidate will have a knowledge and interest in social media especially TikTok and Twitter and will ideally have the confidence to develop and post fun content to our channels to boost engagement. This is not essential, but desired.
Working shift patterns: To be confirmed but provisionally 4 hours 11am-3pm Weds, Thurs, Friday and 8 hours on Saturday. We are flexible to meet the needs of potential candidates.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week
Salary: £7.37-£10.50 per hour
