Sales Executive - avocado Cars
We are recruiting for a talented Used Car Sales Executive to join us as we launch our exciting new venture avocado cars based in Newbury. avocado will have its own website and a dedicated sales team along with superb facilities. avocado will be retailing premium used cars across all brands. This new addition to the Sandown portfolio will enable Sandown to grow its presence in the South of England and to attract new customers. Opening in early 2023 with a great selection of used cars and we are looking for an exceptional Sales Executive to join our team
Main Duties and Responsibilities
· Promoting sales both within the showroom and generating outside sales by welcoming, advising, calling on and supporting customers.
· Managing orders on hand and supervising order processing. Carrying out follow-up contacts to customer and prospects; processing and managing a customer file.
· Presenting and preparing finance quotations, completing finance proposals and chasing through finance applications.
· Contacting interested parties and customers by telephone and in writing to generate Sales Leads.
· Informing and advising visitors on used vehicles, equipment, prices, conditions, technical data and other issues.
· Immediately passing on customers' wishes to sales management
· Evaluating used cars and arranging for technical appraisals to be carried out. Assessing the condition of Trade Ins and ensuring all defects /damage re reported and recorded prior to a Part Ex price being agreed.
· Organising and carrying out test-drives and evaluate results
· Compiling and sending out offers
· Establishing a file of new customers and providing support to new customers
· Involvement in sales events
Hours:
The showroom is open from 8.30 - 18.30 Monday to Friday, 8:30 – 17:00 Saturday and 10:00 – 16:00 Sunday. Weekend work on a rota basis will be required however; a 5-day week will be worked.
Total: 42.5 hours per week
Exceptional customer service skills are essential as is a proactive approach and determination to sell cars. Successful candidates will currently be working in sales in the motor trade.
