Field Sales Executive – North West England

LOCATION: REMOTE - NW ENGLAND
We have a super new field sales role, working for a leading educational publisher, working on their digital collections, which are sold to academic libraries within the North West of England. The subject areas will include Humanities and Arts. This is highly interesting role where you will make client meetings and travel around the NW territory. This role will be based from home and candidates should be able to travel throughout the territory.
Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Working mainly with academic libraries, you will be selling subscriptions to the company’s digital Humanities & Arts digital collections, building up relationships by frequent meetings, email, and telephone with a consultative sales approach
- Maximising sales by identifying customers’ needs
- Represent the company at key industry events, such as conferences exhibitions and trade shows
- Updating and maintain sales information on the company CRM system
- Work with the sales and marketing teams by sharing customer feedback and market intelligence
- Grow your product knowledge of a large and growing product list
This is a highly interesting and varied role foe someone who enjoys field sales. The ideal person will have some experience of field sales within the NW territory and will be customer focused. Ideally you will have a passion for the Humanities and Arts and have a qualification in history, Art or a related field. You will have the ability to absorb product knowledge and a good understanding of the academic sector, as well as the confidence to interact with academics.
You need to have the flexibility to travel as this role will require visiting customers throughout the North West of England. A clean driving licence and car is essential.
