Job description

Due to our continued growth, we are looking for an additional fulltime member of staff.

Working within the Sales team you will need to demonstrate the following

• An excellent attention to detail, the ability to read and understand a specification, to engage with customers and colleagues, allowing you to develop a commercially accurate tender submission.
• Ideally the candidate should have an aptitude for engineering, with the necessary training you would be expected to develop a good knowledge of the marine industry market.
• Previous quoting experience is helpful
• Have a problem-solving attitude, able to work as part of a team but also able to manage their own workload.
• A track record that shows sales growth and successful business development
• Work with the minimum of supervision.
• Proven ability to manage and develop business
• Ability to find and develop opportunities with potential new customers
• Demonstrate success in winning large sales opportunities.
• Initiative, know how to find opportunities for business
• Independence – recognise how to get things done
• Relationship skills – able to build strong positive relationships with customer key decision makers and collaborate positively
• Good communicator with excellent listening, spoken and written communication skills
• Excellent negotiation & closing skills
• Ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within an organization and work well within a team

Requirements

· Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales or technical role

· Valid Full Driving License

Salary starting at £27k Pa, plus target driven bonus scheme.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From £25,000.00 per year

• 8 hour shift

• Penzance, TR18 4BW: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
