On Street Sales Vendors – Bright Bus Tours - Edinburgh City Centre
McGill’s Bus Service Ltd, the UKs largest independent bus operator and Scottish Public Transport Operator of the Year 2022 are looking for on-street Sales Vendors to join our team at Bright Bus Tours in the heart of Edinburgh City Centre. Part time, full time and flexible hours are available for this role and you can earn £10.50 per hour plus commission!
What’s the job role and what skills do I need?
Reporting to the Operations Tours Manager, the main responsibility of the on-street Sales Vendor is promoting the sale of tickets and tour packages for our open-top city tour buses. You will be discussing and promoting city attraction discounts with visitors and tourists on Edinburgh City Centre streets, acting as an ambassador for the city tour service across the city centre. You will also assist and interact with customers to answer queries about our sightseeing tour bus and deliver ongoing customer care for customers as they use our service.
We are looking for the successful candidate to have:
- Excellent customer service skills and willing to go the extra mile
- Ability to deal effectively and professionally with a broad variety of customer queries
- Ability to demonstrate patience and understanding with customers
- Ability to work on own initiative and also work effectively as part of a team
- Must be 18 years of age or over
