Our client – based in Irlam are looking to recruit a New Business Internal Sales Representative to join the Sales Support Team as part of an expansion to the company. The main duties for this New Business Internal Sales Representative will include:
- Researching existing clients who may need repeat products
- Liaising with the sales team regarding potential leads
- Making outbound calls to assess new business opportunities, confirming potential for company products and then passing to Sales Managers
- Qualification of customer data to generate a focus list for onward sales
- Assisting with the management of the CRM system
- Developing additional sales of the products through cross selling opportunities from inbound and outbound calls
- Researching and utilising external industry magazines to source and log new potential prospects and market information relevant to the industry on the database
- Updating the DRM database in conjunction with the Sales Managers on market size / share, new opportunities and priorities
- Assessing and documenting relevant information on competition, stock holding, range portfolio and locations
- Managing small accounts and operating as holiday cover for the Sales Coordinators
- All associated administration duties as required
The successful candidate for this New Business Internal Sales Representative will possess:
- Have an excellent telephone manner and communication skills
- Be computer literate with experience of using MS Office packages including Teams
- SAP experience would be advantageous but not essential as a full training programme will be offered
- Possess excellent time management and organisational skills
- Be able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team within a busy customer orientated sales office
- Preferably have previous relevant experience in a telesales or outbound business development role (B2B would be an advantage) although a confident, enthusiastic approach to work is essential
- Be an experienced CRM user (training will be provided)
In return this role is offered on a full time permanent basis. The company offer a hybrid solution after an office based training period.
Salary: £22,000 – £26,000 DoE
