1. Position Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and service orientated team player to sell amazing holidays across the globe to our travel agency partners.
To sell and promote travel and ancillary products to Independent Travel Agents using own knowledge and CRS systems. To maximise profitability whilst improving customer satisfaction and maintaining a quality service. To be able to maintain service levels in a busy and buzzing atmosphere.
Excellent telephone skills and interpersonal skills are essential. Ideally a knowledge of a GDS would be advantageous, but not essential. Great opening for a travel agent looking to get into tour operating.
2. Principal Accountabilities
Customer Service
· Builds strong relationships with both customers and colleagues.
· Handles customer enquiries and/or complaints
· Builds a thorough working knowledge of Jetset Tours products and services.
· Has an understanding of flights, air fares, manual and automated ticketing and fare construction. (desirable not essential)
· Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of suppliers and products, including air travel, hotels, car hire, ferries, tour operators.
· Has knowledge of the regulations of the International Air Transport Association (I.A.T.A). Demonstrates knowledge of domestic and international travel geography.
· Shows an awareness of and interest in developments in the travel industry, including activities of the competition.
· Sound knowledge of sales process and sources of reference.

3. Knowledge and Skills
· Excellent written and verbal skills
· Customer service skills
· Good command of English Language and Maths
· NVQ Certificate Travel & Tourism or Cotac 1 & 2 (desirable not essential)
· Minimum 2 years relevant travel industry experience
· CRS/Internet system knowledge
· Product knowledge – across industry
· Proven selling skills – aims to exceed sales targets and achieve goals
· Actively listens to others concerns and suggestion
· Attentive in a learning environment
· Demonstrates flexibility in working environment
· Able to achieve rapport quickly
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £22,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
