We are currently recruiting for Part Time Retail Sales Assistants within our Branch at Walthamstow, East London
The teams within our retail stores pride themselves on delivering an exceptional standard of customer service, using their extensive knowledge of our products to advise their customers on the right product for the job.
Working in a busy, varied and fast-paced environment you will be getting involved with all aspects of the role including, generating sales opportunities, merchandising, deliveries and replenishment. You will be engaging with our customers, finding out what they want and recommending them tools to suit their needs (don’t worry, full guidance and training is provided) ideally you will enjoy talking to people, be a great communicator, who thrives on going the extra mile to exceed customer expectations and has either knowledge or a keen interest in power tools and DIY products.
The Role
· To maximise sales opportunities by identifying customer requirements, offering link products when appropriate and highlighting promotional items
· Processing sales and managing returns and after sales service, efficiently and accurately while maintaining a professional image.
· To maintain a high level or product knowledge by attending Product training sessions and continual learning.
· To maintain shop floor standards of merchandising and presentation with accurate and effective point of sale material and ensuring products are continually replenished.
· Working within the stockroom to receive and process deliveries and transfers from the main distribution warehouse
To be successful you must be able to meet all the criteria which includes: -
· Must have a customer- orientated attitude and be confident, motivated and able to use initiative.
· Must have a pleasant, helpful and optimistic attitude and ability to form strong working relationships
· Ideally will have good product knowledge or experience of working with power tools and associated products
· Ability to work as a valuable team member actively supporting others and having a flexible can-do attitude.
· The positions are Part-Time role working on average between 22.75 hours per week with shifts between the hours of 6.45am-8pm including weekends.
