We are excited to be recruiting for a new addition to the Hurstbourne Forge team based in Andover, Hampshire. We are a general metal fabrication workshop with a highly varied range of work, specialising in one-off, bespoke and fast turnaround technical fabrication projects, with a well equipped modern workshop.
Due to continued expansion of our new welding supplies and metal cut to size trade counter, we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic person to drive the operation, development and expansion of this facility. The ideal candidate will have customer facing sales experience, some exposure to hands on practical work (preferably welding or fabrication related), and knowledge of business development techniques. This is a varied role within a small business, involving everything from serving customers to monitoring stock levels, purchasing, dealing with sales enquiries, packing and dispatching online orders and similar related tasks. For the right candidate this role will give you the opportunity to directly influence and grow this side of the business, with lots of scope for personal development in a wide range of areas.

The right candidate will be able to fill a range of responsibilities, from advising on welding equipment to filling cut metal orders, administering and dispatching online orders, as well as working with the rest of the team to ensure good stock levels and expanding our product lines.

This has been achieved by deploying increasing levels of cutting edge workshop machinery, and solid hard work from the core team of 8 staff.
