Sales Ledger Clerk

The Company: Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are working with a marketing company based in Sheffield who are on the lookout for an experienced Sales Ledger Clerk to join the Finance Team. You will be reporting to the Financial Controller and will need to ensure smooth running of the sales ledger in the business.

The Role:

• As the Sales Ledger Clerk you will be raising sales invoices as well as credit notes
• You will need to do credit card reconciliations.
• Responsible for ensuring that all cash is collected on time.
• Making sure that all invoices are accurate to customer requirements.
• You will need to keep yourself up to date with VAT legislations that are relevant to the sales ledger function.
• Assisting an supporting the Financial Controller if there are any issues

Experience Required:

• The Sales Ledger Clerk will need to have previous experience within a similar position.
• Excellent knowledge of Excel
• Must have experience using Sage 200 or Thasterns
• The ideal candidate needs to have a confidential and professional approach to work.
