So, where do i fit in?
We’re looking for an experienced PPA Sales Executive to join our Origination team and wider Sales function. In this role you’ll be responsible for the provision of pricing to new and existing small-to-medium sized renewable electricity SmartGen generators. This area of the export market is seen as high-growth to Good Energy and will therefore involve a substantial degree of customer contact and efficient coordination of internal resources to ensure Good Energy’s high standards of service are met.
You’ll be assisting the wider Sales team with achieving volume and margin targets, including a high level of retention of our SmartGen PPA customers. In this role you’ll produce power purchase agreement (PPA) quotes and negotiate prices with generators and secure deals for our customers.
Accountabilities:
Establishing and maintaining positive and effective relationships with prospective and current generators and installers. Strong ability to convert prospective relationships into current business.
Engaging with and fostering positive relationships with SmartGen PPA brokers.
Managing and delivering ad hoc projects relating to the improvement of Good Energy’s products and services.
Assisting and enabling implementation of new generators through the grid connection and meter installation process.
Maintaining the accuracy and integrity of all data in relation to SmartGen PPA contracts.
Fielding and prioritising a wide variety of generation queries via telephone and email.Have I got what it takes?
You’ll have previous experience of working in the energy industry and have a keen interest in renewable electricity generation. We’re looking for someone who is a confident and engaging communicator and is able to convey complicated subjects to customers in easy to comprehend terms. You will have proven experience of building relationships to maximise commercial value. Our industry is always changing so you’ll need to be flexible and able to adapt to changing market conditions and revisions to the company’s procurement strategy.
As a well-organised and tenacious individual, you'll use your prioritisation skills to effectively manage your time and efficiently fulfil customer pricing demands. You’ll have a good eye for detail and be comfortable working within tried-and-tested processes and will be able to work under your own initiative with a proactive approach to delivering results and meeting deadlines.
Essential:
Highly literate and numerate.
Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel
Experience of building relationships to maximise commercial value.
An excellent eye for detail.

Desirable:
Experience of wholesale electricity market and pricing is highly advantageous.
