Job Title: Sales Representative - Student Accommodation
Location: London Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 per annum
Work Pattern: Tuesday to Saturday (Full-Time, Job Share, or Part-Time)
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Representative to join our dynamic team in London. As a Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in identifying and capitalizing on sales opportunities for our portfolio of student accommodation properties. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in PBSA, sales, or property let who are passionate about delivering exceptional service to international students.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue short-term and long-term contracts for student accommodation in London.
- Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from international students across various channels, including websites and social media platforms.
- Work closely with Accommodation Managers and Operations Teams to ensure a seamless customer journey and improve sales conversion rates.
- Provide support to the regional Sales Team at our sister company, GoBritanya, in identifying potential sales prospects.
- Share innovative ideas with the Marketing Team to develop engaging marketing materials and campaigns that drive sales, re-bookings, and extensions.
- Implement effective strategies to encourage contract extensions and foster strong relationships with current residents.
- Foster and maintain relationships with booking platforms, Language Schools, Universities, and Pathway Providers.
- Assist in managing partnerships for group bookings, ensuring smooth coordination and exceptional service.
- Arrange property tours, conduct drop-in appointments, and showcase the unique features of our accommodation to potential partners and residents.
- Contribute to the overall management of sales budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Actively participate in generating positive customer reviews on platforms like Trustpilot and Google.
- Assist the Head of Sales in implementing strategies and achieving sales targets.
- Attend regular sales meetings with the regional and domestic sales teams to stay informed and contribute to team success.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Marketing Team to develop engaging social media content that highlights the advantages of our accommodation offerings.
- Support the promotion of new buildings and initiatives, differentiating our brand from competitors and strengthening our market presence.
- Engage with residents through social media live sessions, providing helpful information and facilitating their transition to the UK and student life.
- Provide additional support during peak periods, such as turnovers and the start of academic terms.
- Assist during holidays by supporting duties typically handled by the Accommodation Manager & FOH Advisor.
- Share valuable insights, updates, and feedback on our portfolio properties, customer experiences, and competitor developments through regular reporting.
Candidate Requirements:
- Prior experience in PBSA, sales, or property let is highly desired.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent customer service orientation with the ability to address customer inquiries and concerns professionally and effectively.
- Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications and comfortable with digital communication channels.
- Knowledge of Landlord/Tenant Legislation is an advantage.
Educational background with a focus on business or related fields is preferred.
