Frontline Safety is a UK specialist in the Design, Supply, Installation & Servicing of Gas Detection & Safety Monitoring Equipment. Our head office is based in Glasgow, with sales offices in Aberdeen and Oxford. We represent some of the world's renowned manufacturers in the markets we sell in, including Draeger Safety, Honeywell, MSA, Crowcon and GDS Technologies. We have a team of qualified engineers who service portable and fixed gas detection equipment across the UK.

We are currently recruiting for a Sales Executive to be based in our Glasgow office as part of a growing team providing high-level customer service within the gas detection industry to various clients. You will be responsible for developing accounts and growing spend through various contact points. It is important that you understand all aspects of the business and how things move through the processes with touchpoints in all departments. You will join a successful, friendly sales team to work together towards achieving and exceeding set KPIs.

Responsibilities

- Support a client base with existing, new and web-based customers seeing the enquiries through from initial quote to finalised order, with aftercare included.

- Manage inbound communication through channels such as email, phone call, webchat and our “Contact Us” online form.

- Follow up enquiries and quotes to secure business within a defined KPI time period.

- By using a consultative approach, offer guidance to customers to specific the correct solutions for their needs.

- Grow your account base and annual spend by cross-selling, up-selling and working closely with customers.

- Display a high-level customer service with every point of contact with customers

- Interact with external and internal stakeholders on a daily basis in-person, by phone or online.

Skills

- IT literacy – competency in CRM software and MS Office.

- Sales experience is preferable, commercially minded is a must – ability to deliver excellent customer experience.

- Confident with decision-making and using initiative, being business minded.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills – being detail-oriented.

- Team player and willingness to learn.

- Excellent time management with understanding of KPI deliverables.

- Be motivated and adaptable to market factors.

- Confident in building relationships with customers and suppliers

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £26,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
