We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Sales Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, helping customers with their queries, and providing advice on products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sales techniques, be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent communication skills. We are looking for someone who is passionate about sales and is able to build relationships with customers quickly.
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service and answer customer inquiries.
- Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor with customers and co-workers.
- Assist customers in selecting merchandise that meets their needs.
- Keep the sales floor organized and clean.
- Assist in stocking shelves and keeping the store neat and tidy.
- Operate cash registers accurately and efficiently.
- Process returns and exchanges in accordance with company policy.
You’ll build long standing relationships with our regular trade customers,
Use your creativity to inspire customers, helping them to pick the right design and style choices.
Gain product knowledge to give valuable advice for trade and retail customers to get them the best products they need.
The best bit? You don’t even need to know anything about sales, or Retail!
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £10.50-£11.50 per hour
