All about the role
Based at our Barrett Engineering Steel Newport site, we are looking for an excellent communicator/administrator to train as an Internal Sales Executive. In this role you will manage and enhance relationships with existing accounts and nurture new accounts, building a rapport on the phone/via email, obtaining enquiries to quote then winning business.
Specific tasks include:
- Sourcing new sales opportunities and developing existing customer base.
- Build partnering relationships to understand customer needs and requirements.
- Develop relationships with key accounts so that clear communication lines are open.
- Help to develop new business, ensuring potential clients are aware of what our business has to offer.
- Raising Sales Orders, check stock availability and raising quotations.
- Ensuring a high level of customer service

You will have the passion, drive, and confidence to work within the business in a collaborative, creative way; always ensuring a high level of customer service and the ability to build on existing business whilst successfully developing new.

- Can build strong relationships quickly with a proactive attitude and approach.
- Excellent communication & computer skills
- Driven, collaborative, customer focused and goal oriented, with efficient organisational skills and can work innovatively and creatively.
