Assisting the Store Manager to maintain a high quality of store operation and ensure customer satisfaction.
Although sales are important we want our customers to enjoy visiting our stores and ultimately come back again. Product knowledge is essential for you to respond to customer enquiries and also make appropriate recommendations.
Duties and Responsibilities
To provide excellent customer service at all times.
To adhere to "Challenge 25" procedures when serving age restricted products.
Cash handling; Careful and accurate cash handling including using and balancing tills every shift. Replenishing stock and making sure the store is tidy and well organised at all times.
Cleaning, ensuring that the customer and back area is kept clean and tidy; take part in the cleaning rota and ensure that all operations are completed to the required standard.
Any other duties as required for the smooth running of the store.
Previous experience in retail is preferred but not essential.
Must be fully flexible and available to work between the hours of 6am - 10pm 7 days per week.
Must be helpful, friendly and comfortable working with the public.
To be enthusiastic, committed and self motivated and able to work as part of a team but also on your own initiative.
The role does require lone working in the store once fully trained.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 10-20 per week
Salary: £7.49-£10.42 per hour

Experience:
- Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
- customer service: 1 year (preferred)
