Carritech is a highly experienced provider of software and hardware support to telecommunication network operators around the world, specialising in the supply and ongoing support of legacy equipment. Our management team have over 50 years combined experience within the carrier telecoms industry which has helped to develop and refine each of our core services.
Using the sustainable principles of the circular economy, we stock over 116,000 spare parts in our UK and Spain warehouses and deliver to customers in 97 countries.
We enable customers to extend the life of their network and avoid the unnecessary waste of electronic equipment.
Focusing on optical and radio transport networks, we are investing in the development of our remote technical support service and now looking for an experienced sales specialist to join our growing team.
If you have a demonstrably proven track record in selling managed services in the voice and data environment, ideally to telecommunication operators and or utilities, and would like a new challenge, you could be the person we are looking for.
You must be a confident communicator and negotiator, able to engage effectively at C-level with our existing clients, as well as prospecting for new ones.
Knowledge of carrier class telecommunications or a technical background in CPE’s telecoms and IT networks, will be an advantage.
If English is not your native language, then it is essential that you are able to communicate both written and verbally in English to a C1 level. Other spoken languages such as Spanish will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities
- Introduce Carritech Support Services to existing contact database
- Approach and introduce new contacts
- Present, promote and sell Services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
- Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
- Meet the company targets and objectives
- Respond to RFQs and tenders within the deadlines
- Monthly/weekly sales reporting
- Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Continuously improve through feedback
Must Haves
- Proven experience in selling services in the telecommunications or IT industry
- Knowledge of telecommunication networks at an intermediate technical level
- Familiarity with CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships
- Ability to communicate with customers at a senior (C) level
- Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
- Ability to build and manage a team
- Ability to communicate both written and verbally in English at a C1 level
- Availability to travel

Salary and benefits
40-60k per annum dependant on experience plus commission
